If your property is located outside the jurisdictional boundaries of a Sanitation District (see map below) and you would like to obtain sewerage service from the Sanitation Districts, your property needs to be annexed to a Sanitation District. Please check with Sanitation Districts’ staff to confirm whether your parcel needs annexation. Sanitation Districts’ staff will make the final determination.

For an estimate of your Annexation Processing Fees or to request annexation to a Sanitation District, please contact Shirly Wang, Annexation Desk Coordinator, at shirlywang@lacsd.org or (562) 908-4288, ext.2708. A quotation letter will be prepared and sent to you along with the Application Package, which includes all necessary forms required to initiate the annexation process. Please note: no application will be processed until a completed application package, including all required materials and documents and the necessary processing fees, has been received by this office.

Connection Fees are paid by new users to cover the cost of the capacity needed to accommodate their discharge. It is usually a one-time fee that must be paid before a connection to the sewer is made.
