How much does it cost to attend Earth Day?
It's free! Just come on by on April 13.
Is there a minimum age requirement to enter the festival?
The event is open to all ages.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to/from the festival?
Event parking is located off-site at 13181 and 13191 Crossroads Parkway North. Shuttle service will be provided to transport guests to/from the parking lot and the festival. Parking is available onsite for guests in need of ADA parking. Guests are also encouraged to ride their bikes and carpool.
What activities do you have for kids?
We'll have our famous Paint-a-Pot and Plant-a-Seed booths. Guests get to decorate a terra cotta pot with paints and once its dry, you move on to the plant poppy seeds (the California State Flower) in it. You get to take the pot home to decorate your home. We'll also have magic shows and face painters at the Kids Zone.
Will you have tours?
Yes, we'll have tours of our two most popular facilities in Whittier available to the public. Seating is limited and guests are encouraged to sign up for their tour when they arrive at the festival.
Tours of the San Jose Creek Water Reclamation Plant will run every 30 minutes from 10:30 am until 1:30 pm. Tours of the Puente Hills Materials Recovery Facility will run at 10:15 am, 11:30 am, and 12:45 pm.
Will there be food?
There will be food on site for purchase. Be sure to check out our booths, we give tickets out for FREE pop corn and FREE hot dogs.
What is the entertainment at the Stage?

Can I take my dog?
Sorry, we like pets, but no pets allowed.
What happens if it rains?
Earth Day happens rain or shine!
