Soils Acceptance Program
The Sanitation Districts will no longer require forms and pre-approval for clean dirt loads at any of our landfills. Forms and pre-approval are required for the acceptance of contaminated soil. Click on the title link above for more information. Facilities currently accepting dirt are the Puente Hills Landfill, Scholl Canyon Landfill and Calabasas Landfill.

Greenwaste Load Requirements
The Sanitation Districts’ green waste program successfully diverts significant quantities of green waste for use as mulch and “alternative daily cover” (ADC). State legislation ensures that cities will be able to continue to count green waste ADC towards AB939 diversion goals. Information about the Sanitation Districts' procedures on acceptance of green waste material for the landfill uses is available by clicking on the title link above.
