Advisory Regarding Public Meetings

Interested members of the public may provide comments by attending the meeting or by teleconference when applicable. Please refer to agenda for specifics. During a teleconferenced meeting,  you may raise your hand during Public Comments to be called upon or you may complete the "Request to Address the Board of Directors" form for the Secretary to call upon you. Written public comments should be submitted to info@lacsd.org up to two hours prior to the start of the meeting if you cannot join the meeting.

Agendas and minutes for the Boards of Directors meetings and supporting documentation are available for review. A Calendar with the dates of all upcoming board meetings is available.

  • For regular meetings, the agenda must be posted 72 hours in advance.
  • For special meetings, the “call and notice” must be posted at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.
  • For adjourned meetings, agendas need not be re-noticed if it is held within five days from the date of the original meeting. If not, a 72-hour posting period is required.
  • In compliance, with the Americans with Disabilities Act, if you need special assistance to participate in a District meeting, please contact the Secretary to the Boards office at (562) 908-4288, ext. 1100, at least 48 hours prior to the meeting to allow staff to make reasonable arrangements to ensure accessibility to the meeting.
