ARIZONA AVENUE TRUNK SEWER, SECTION 2 MODIFICATION AT MH 02 1570 — The proposed project will consist of installation of two (2) manholes and approximately 20 feet of 10-inch diameter vitrified clay pipe, and all appurtenant work. The project is located within an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County called East Los Angeles.
JOINT WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT TOTAL ENERGY FACILITY FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEMS(Mandatory walk-through location: Joint Water Pollution Control Plant, 24501 S. Figueroa Street, Carson, CA 90745) — The project will provide automatic fire sprinkler systems for the steam turbine bearings and lube oil system. The project will also replace threaded diesel fuel piping with welded piping to prevent leakage and add fire shut-off controls to the diesel fuel pumps, and all appurtenant work.
LONG BEACH WATER RECLAMATION PLANT STAGE TWO RETURN ACTIVATED SLUDGE PIPING REPLACEMENT(Mandatory walk-through location: 7400 E. Willow Street, Long Beach, California 90815) — The proposed project will replace carbon steel piping with fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) piping. The project will also include new valves, magnetic flow meter, an electrical panel, associated conduit and wiring, mounting of Districts'-furnished valves and valve actuators, and all appurtenant work.
TRUNK "F" SEWER REHABILITATION — The work consists of rehabilitation of approximately 3,980 feet of existing 12-inch diameter non-reinforced concrete pipe (NRCP) sewer, approximately 9,290 feet of existing 15-inch diameter NRCP sewer, and approximately 430 feet of existing 21-inch diameter reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) sewer with by cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liner. In addition, the project will rehabilitate 45 manholes with calcium aluminate cement, and all appurtenant work. The project begins at the intersection of Avenue L and 45th Street, and extends easterly in Avenue L to 40th Street, then northerly in 40th Street to Avenue J, then easterly in Avenue J for approximately 430 feet.
JOINT OUTFALL F UNIT 1 TRUNK SEWER ODOR CONTROL STATION REHABILITATION(Mandatory walk-through location: 6571 Atlantic Avenue, Long Beach, California 90805) — The project will include construction of an odor control station consisting of four fiberglass carbon scrubbers, a demister, two blowers, and the associated piping and electrical systems. The project will also include site improvements, paving, demolition and backfill of the existing below-ground odor control station, and all appurtenant work.
